Hair and Skin Care Routines to Slay the Festive Season

2020 has been quite an eventful year for all of us! While we’ve all been staying indoors because of that, who said your skin and hair is protected? No-no, we don’t mean to scare you, we just want you to be prepared. After all, the festive season is here! While all of you master the art of throwing a close-knit fiesta at home, we’re here to help you be the talk of the occasion with flawless skin and bouncy hair. We’ve got you covered with easy skin and hair care masks that will add a little extra oomph to your festive celebrations! Trust us, your radiance will be the talk of the town with #YourBeautySquad. Here are some masks you can try out at home that will help you revitalise your hair and skin!

1) A traditional and exotic treat for your skin!

When a traditional home remedy meets an exotic one, the only winner here is you with glowing skin! While the coffee scrub reduces redness, fine lines, and sunspots, the antioxidants properties of turmeric give your skin a festive glow!

Recipe - Mix 1 tablespoon of The Beauty Co. De-Tan Coffee Scrub and powdered turmeric with 1 tablespoon of Greek yogurt. Apply it all over your face as well as under your eyes. Let it sit for 20 minutes and remove it with a warm, damp towel!

2) A Yummy Hydration Station for your skin!

Yes! We used the word Yummy and that’s because of the ingredients used! They are the shining stars that will be the reason for your flawless skin. The avocado ensures your skin is well-hydrated, cocoa gives your skin soothing antioxidants properties, while honey provides the anti-bacterial qualities to keep your skin protected.

Recipe - Mash a quarter of an avocado in a bowl. Stir it in 1 tablespoon of The Beauty Co. Chocolate Coffee Scrub with one tablespoon honey. Mash it and mix it well. Apply the mask on your dry skin and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash off with warm water and moisturize it with a few drops of our Rose Gold Oil.

3) A solution that won’t flake on your hair

Don’t let the flakiness of your hair ruin your festive mood! Spritz them away with the goodness of apple cider vinegar, tea tree essential oil, and water. While the apple cider vinegar lowers the acidic levels of your scalp, the healing power of tea tree stops dandruff and its itch.

Recipe - Mix 1/4th cup of water with 1/4th cup of apple cider vinegar and add 6-8 drops of our tea tree essential oil. Spray it thoroughly in your scalp and let it sit for 30 minutes. For best results, shampoo and condition it with our Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo-conditioner.

4) A honeylicious rescue for your hair

We totally understand that neither your genes nor your hormones can stop your scalp from secreting oil, but we are here to reduce that. Say goodbye to oily scalp and welcome the festive season with soft bouncy hair! Let the antibacterial properties of honey work its magic on your scalp, as the lemon reduces the acidic levels in your hair. Aloe gives them just the right amount of hydration.

Recipe - Mix 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and squeeze lemon juice in it as you mix it well. Focus on your scalp as you rake it through your damp hair. Let it sit for 15 minutes and rinse it off (shampooing is not necessary, but you can). Top if off with our Argan & Baobab Hair Serum to not let the frizziness rule you.

This festive season, give yourself the glow your hair and skin deserve with The Beauty Co.
